 Our Mission

The purpose of the North Country Council of Social Agencies is to provide supportive community forums through relevant educational programming, engaging publications and networking opportunities thereby strengthening collaboration and mission adherence among community service organizations.

The NCCSA (formerly the Jefferson County Social Agencies) has been in existence for 68 years - since 1944.

The NCCSA (then the Jefferson County Social Agencies) has been incorporated and has held non profit status for 43 years - since 1969.

The Jefferson County Social Agencies Inc changed the name to North Country Council of Social Agencies on January 28th, 1991 and has remained so for 21 years.
